Pitch Black Industries was built to look directly at one of life's most profound vulnerabilities: the premature exhaustion of the human spirit. Over 700,000 people a year succumb to despair. Countless more endure silent attrition — diminished by financial anxiety and the ache of not belonging. We traced this distress to two axes: the systemic difficulty of building resilient wealth, and the societal friction felt by the twenty percent of humanity whose brains are built differently. Our answer is cognitive arbitrage: we seek out extreme cognitive outliers, pay them exceptionally, cover each other's blind spots, and point the combined capability at problems that conventional institutions cannot touch.

Forensic psychiatric instrumentation · PhD-track research input. A psychiatry shortage meets a courtroom: a person in crisis enters the justice system, the defence needs a forensic assessment, and the waiting list is measured in months. DNAGenomicsGPT was built for that gap — not to replace the forensic psychiatrist, but to assemble the structured evidentiary groundwork so expert time goes to judgement, not compilation. It runs on the full whole-genome sequencing file at thirty-fold coverage — three billion base pairs across roughly thirteen raw volumes — not a consumer SNP chip. Its defining inversion: the system is built to refuse. No imputation, mandatory coordinate conversion, traceability per volume, coverage normalisation, zygosity weighting. Every line of the two-hundred-page output walks back to the raw byte it came from — because a hostile cross-examination was the design reader.

Regulatory arbitrage · stochastic risk architecture. Fourteen years of quiet, steady integration of mental-health education, dignity and structured operational safety into a sector that holds a uniquely high concentration of brilliant, neurodivergent professionals — and generates the margin that funds the clinical and educational research arms. The debut LP · thirty-two tracks · worldwide release. Thirty-two tracks written and produced in-house — the emotional register of the whole enterprise set to music. Track eighteen, The Swarm of Fireflies, became the network's unofficial anthem. Shadow Black runs the ambient lane: dark-mode internet radio, a continuous soundscape for the kind of mind that works at 3am. RKJ, founding principal
Founder across diamonds, venues, property and artificial intelligence. Finance-trained — BFin, MAcc, MBA, CFA Level One at nineteen — and twenty years deep in the diamond trade. Fourteen years an owner-operator in Sydney's adult venues, ex crocodile and python handler, on a PhD pathway in suicidology. The operator's own framework, eighty thousand words, was written under maximum load and holds the whole enterprise together: a neurodivergent architecture that visualises data in four dimensions and holds an aversion to unhedged risk.
